Sometimes in a humble abode you just want tons of natural light, a full floor master suite, and plenty of outdoor space to sip cocktails with friends. Is that asking too much? I don’t think so.

Well if that’s sounds appealing, you’re going to love this house nestled in the Evergreen hillside. This one’s got a cool, Scandinavian Chic vibe going for it, with wood panel pitched roofs and one helluva chef’s kitchen. “Scandi Chic”, as the hip designers say, is a mix of minimalism, vintage, and hygge design cues. ✅ ✅ ✅ 

With as many decks and outdoor seating areas as bedrooms, there are plenty of places to soak up that amazing Colorado sunshine and catch both sunrise and sunset.

Food Hall & Beer Garden: Incoming

Good news for those of us that enjoy cold beer, outdoor patios, and epic views. There’s a new biergarten (fancy spelling for beer garden) slated for development just outside of Golden. Prost Brewing, which has other beloved locations in Lower Highlands and Highlands Ranch, has announced new plans for an almost 7,000 square foot beer garden in the Clear Creek Crossing development in Applewood, just east of South Table Mountain.

Also joining Prost will be a food hall revamp, dubbed Agora at Applewood. This sounds like a fun one- six different dining options, including an Irish pub with a golf simulator built in, an Italian market serving up deli sandwiches and pizza, and an upscale cocktail bar. Rounding out the food options will be a family friendly pub, rooftop bar, and an ice cream spot. That should be enough to keep one busy for a couple hours!

The plans call for the buildings to be constructed in an open horseshoe overlooking South Table Mountain. Expect to have space to enjoy outdoor fire pits, live music, and enough room for the kiddos to run rampant will the adults enjoy some cold beverages.

Crew Hats: Ordered 🦅 

Crew hats have been ordered, and are being handcrafted in the pines of Maine as we speak. Once every stitch has been inspected to ensure the highest of quality, they will land in Colorado. To avoid overstocking my living room and driving my wife insane, only a limited quantity of hats were made.
