New Hotel Development: Downtown Morrison

After two years of working with the city and community, a new boutique hotel is set to break ground along Morrison’s Main Street. Dubbed The Red Hotel, the 22 room boutique hotel will serve Red Rocks concertgoers and foothills travelers. Replacing the former clothing store Blend (next to Cafe Prague), it was important the new structure fit in with the existing charms and vibe of the street, and the development team looks to have done just that.

The two and a half story building will also feature a cafe open to the public, and rooftop with those coveted foothill views we all love. If interested, take a peek at the video provided by the developer for a full look at the new project

Sweat & Socialize: Community Sauna Event?

Crazy idea for everyone, so bear with me… would anyone be up for a Foothill Crew event where we sauna and cold plunge? Or am I the only one who’s been listening to far too many podcasts about the benefits of the sauna/cold plunge combo…

We’ve been talking with the great folks at Nomadic Fire Mobile Sauna (who post up at Mountain Toad Brewing every other Tuesday, FYI). Exclusive for Foothill Crew members, Nomadic Fire would provide their luxurious mobile sauna and have it piping hot upon arrival. We can all escape constant cell phone notifications, sweat out the bad toxins, and enjoy conversations with neighbors and new friends.
