It’s been a tough week for our community, and we’re all thinking about our neighbors up in Evergreen. As a dad to a young son, and a husband to a high school teacher, it’s tough for me to imagine the shock and horror that others have recently felt.

Strong communities get through these tough times, and I’m certain Evergreen is a resilient one. Take care of one another, be kind, and support our local communities who are going through a tough period.

I’ve gathered some information about ways to support, both via local businesses donating a portion of profits, as well as a community fund for those affected by the events of last week. I’m certain there are more out there, so if anyone has information that they’d like to share, shoot an email over to [email protected], and we’ll do our best to support however possible.

• Mountain Home has rescheduled their Annual Fall Fashion Show to this Thursday, from 5-8pm. They are graciously donating 10% of sales from the evening to the Evergreen Community Recovery Fund.

• Buffalo Mountain Print & Supply has stood up an Evergreen Strong line of shirts and accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to support the local community. Check it out here.

• The EHS PTSA has stood up the #EvergreenStrong Community Recovery Fund in partnership with the Evergreen Legacy Foundation. While there are other funds out there, this is the only fund controlled locally and to support the community.
