Foothill Crew has always been about the people who live here, not just the places we hike, eat, and gather. So I want to try something new. 

If you’re a reader of the newsletter and have a topic you’re really into, I’d love to hear from you.

I’m wanting to feature sections of future issues to short (ish), community-contributed perspectives. Simple, personal, and directly from readers of the newsletter. Don’t stress about polished writing or sounding “professional”. This is about sharing knowledge, curiosity, and a local perspective.

Maybe you’re really into gardening or baking sourdough bread.

Maybe you know one trail, area, or stretch of road better than anyone.

Maybe you’re restoring an old cabin, tracking wildlife, home-roasting coffee, or quietly obsessed with something else entirely,

No topic is off limits. (Well, within reason I suppose...)

HOME

In a world of sameness and cookie cutter subdivisons, I always appreciate a unique home. Possibly even a little funky and weird. I enjoyed checking out this earth sheltered house quite literally built into the side of a mountain.

Make homes funky and cool again.
