With Foothill Crew, I want you to know this isn’t my newsletter. It’s yours. So with that said, I’m humbly asking you to fill out a short survey that helps me understand what the community craves, so I can strive to provide more of that. All responses are optional, so no pressure. (Don’t worry, there’s no question about your age in the survey- Whether you get the above movie reference is telling enough 😂 )

Golden re-development: Clayworks

If you’ve driven along Hwy-58 through Golden recently, you’ve probably noticed some major demolition and construction just south of the highway. The property at 9th and Washington has been in the Coors family since 1884. After CoorsTek opened a new facility in 2021, the old Coors Porcelain factory was no longer needed. But instead of selling the 12-acre site, the Coors family is transforming it into Clayworks—a vibrant mixed-use district. Plans include public plazas, spots to eat and drink, places to gather, residences, and offices. Spanning five city blocks, this is going to be a big deal for Golden. I can’t wait to see it come to life.

Named one of the top 10 outdoor festivals in Colorado, Ullrgrass (pronounced “oool-er”) returns this weekend to Golden. Don your best Viking attire, and celebrate with live music, craft beer, and good people. Events happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check out the full details 👇️
