SO LONG, FOLKS

Well, some unfortunate news for the Crew. I’ve made the tough decision to wind down the publication of Foothill Crew, and this will be the last edition. With other obligations in my professional and personal life, I can’t give this the attention it deserves, and frankly, the effort you deserve. What made this newsletter resonate (in my humble opinion) is it wasn’t stale, and Foothill Crew had some personality and character. If I’m giving it a half effort, what people have come to love goes away. That’s not what anyone wants.

It’s been a heck of a ride – over 70 editions isn’t chump change for someone who wasn’t a “writer”. We’ve explored the wonderful area we are lucky enough to call home – digging up stories of old buildings and ruins, exploring trails, and promoting local businesses doing awesome things. It’s been a great joy coming to you all every Tuesday, and I’ve learned things about our area that I’d have never known…. and I’ve lived here for 35 years! I hope you all learned some things and had some fun in the process. Thank you all for reading, submitting information, and being a part of it.
